A self-described outsider, how has this relatively unknown producer & DJ been able to make waves in an industry overflowing with fresh talent clamoring to be heard?

After all, in his relatively young career, Doc's tracks have already been played in clubs all over the world, with the king of electronic music himself-Tiesto-playing them on multiple occasions on his Club Life radio show.

"Simple," he says, "don't try and be someone else. Just be yourself."

"It's crazy to me when I look around and see how many people's worlds are completely formed by outside influence...never expressing any thought or character...merely reflections of their environment."

His music is as unique and individual as the man himself. Even when warned he's "too house" for the techno crowd and "too techno" for the house crowd, Doc remains unfazed. The way he sees it, being different is the best way to get noticed.
